It’s finally time for the annual blanket cleaning and repair! This was a rough winter on all of us, so a massive thank you to Horseware for keeping this herd warm and dry the past five months in (sunny) South Carolina! And, a shout out to Camden Horse Blanket for taking on this mountain of blankets, sheets!

Now onto the gardens!

FOR SALE: JULIA

Former polo pony mare standing approximately 15hh and coming 13 yo, Julia has begun her fox hunting career this season with The Camden Hunt in SC, as well as with Live Oak Hounds. She is brave and surefooted in second and third fields. Great with hounds, stands at checks, and enjoys watching the action. No spook, buck, rear, kick, or any vices. Very easy keeping mare who will turn out with geldings.

Julia is looking for a gung ho kid or smaller adult to hunt and trail ride with. She will jump logs and small obstacles but has not been schooling larger fences yet. She canters and gallops on the buckle but does march a little at the walk when leaving the meet. No need for speed once you are going on and has fantastic brakes!

Currently priced in the low fives starting with a ☝️✋.

Polo ponies day out with The Camden Hunt today. Julia the mare is a steadfast third or second flight type, whose ponying skills were put to good use with a naughty pony on the run. Fritz settled in toward the front of the field and stood like a statue at checks. He will make a very fun staff or first flight handyman. We are so lucky!
