Let’s start getting realistic about this! If you know you’re NOT going to brush your dog for whatever reason that might be, it’s time to go shorter!

Life is hectic, we’re all busy adults, and sometimes the last thing on our mind is brushing a dog. I get it so believe me, this is not judgement! This is a wake up call. Matted dogs are suffering & with inflation these days, why make your wallet suffer paying fees you can easily avoid?

Every master was once a beginner ✂️🐾

Swipe through these photos, and you’ll see my absolute favorite, most recent Yorkie groom. But before that, you’ll see what it took to get here 😮‍💨😅

To be completely honest? Some of those older ones look a little rough to me now! 😂 But you know what? I was incredibly proud of them when I finished them, too ✨

Every uneven clip, every tricky coat, and every single “imperfect” groom was a stepping stone. I never gave up, I kept showing up to the table, and I invested the time to perfect my craft.

This is your reminder to celebrate the small wins and be proud of your own progress—no matter what industry you’re in. You can’t get to the masterpiece without appreciating the rough drafts.

Keep going. Consistency always pays off. ❤️

I’ve practiced real estate, I’ve been a banker, I’ve done so many things but nothing has fulfilled me the way grooming has! I still have so much learning & growing to do but sometimes you have to step back and celebrate the small wins as you work towards the big ones! ✨
