This was a very special day. I met Emily and her mother Sarah one day about 10 or 11 years ago when I had Ruby at a show. When we met, Ruby immediately took to Emily. That was the beginning of our working together. Emily went through Junior showmanship with my dogs, starting with Ruby. She became an exceptional handler and showed Haley to her championship last year. Emily has a special talent with dogs. Today was a very big day because Emily got her first dog of her own, one of Haley’s puppies. She is about to graduate from college, and this puppy is a gift from her parents and me. I will co-own Autumn (formerly Delia) with her. 
I know they will accomplish great things together. Autumn is Ruby’s great, great granddaughter.

Orion is such a handsome guy, and he has the sweetest personality. I’m having a hard time dealing with the fact that all these puppies will be leaving this weekend. But there will be a lot of happy homes. 
Update: his new name will be Rowan

We had a little grooming session today. They are Nova, who will be two in May, mama Haley, who still looks great, Merlin, and baby Delia, who is seven weeks old today and looks like she will be our keeper.
