Hailey and Barahona had an amazing weekend in the .65 meter jumpers. Today they won the jumper class Two years ago she signed the lease on Barahona and what a great day it was today. Congratulations Hailey! Thank you so much to her support staff who has helped on this journey!

Had a great weekend competing with good friends at Ledges Sporting Horses & Show Grounds. I can never thank Mark and Amy enough for everything they have done the last few years for my horses, my riders, and myself. Their barn family has become our barn family. To Cheyenne, who has been like a daughter even before I owned my barn, I can’t thank her enough into stepping up and helping with our lesson program. She is so very knowledgeable and pushes the girls to be the best they can be. To Showplace Productions thank you for hosting such fun shows. Owning my horses and barn has brought so much happiness to my life and getting able to watch them compete with other people and their horses brings me so much happiness. Thank you to each and every one of you.

Our newest addition to our lesson program is 8 years old. She has ridden at another facility for a couple of years. She has jumped up to 2’6”. Last week was her first lesson and was amazing. She is excited to join us this summer at shows. We are thrilled to have her! Cheyenne Johnson

Yesterday Evelyn moved to Nash for her lessons. She has been riding saddle seat for years and is interested in doing hunters. She started lessons a few times a month with Cheyenne. She loves the new challenge

Spring is in the air! Vegas has been in consistent training at Stowaway Hunters and Jumpers the last several weeks. She will be making her debut back in the hunter ring at Ledges next week. Mark Aplin was here for lessons this morning and everyone had fabulous rides. Afterwards Cheyenne Johnson and Hailey played with Nash and Moose. They will be in the show ring this summer too! It’s going to be a great show season!

Today we have two special birthdays on the farm. And both of them happen to be chestnut OTTB’s Happiest of birthdays to the love of my life Milford. 27 years young today! Happy sixth birthday to Lady Sierra. She is a fiery redhead and loves to compete.
