🐾💙 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 💙🐾

Behind every wagging tail, happy purr, and healthy pet is a team of dedicated veterinary professionals who pour their hearts into what they do! 🩺❤️

This week, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible veterinary technicians and support staff here at our hospital!

From comforting nervous patients and assisting with procedures to monitoring anesthesia, providing treatments, and caring for creatures of all shapes, sizes, scales, and species, our team does it all with compassion, patience, and dedication. 🐶🐱🐰🦎🐍

Veterinary medicine isn't always easy. There are long days, difficult cases, emotional moments, and plenty of unexpected challenges. But through it all, our team continues to show up, work together, and give every patient the love and care they deserve.

To our amazing team: THANK YOU! 💙

Thank you for the early mornings, the late evenings, the endless compassion, the teamwork, and the countless little things you do that often go unseen. Your hard work makes a difference not only in the lives of our patients but also in the lives of the families who love them.

We are so grateful for each and every one of you, and we couldn't do what we do without you!

🐾 Help us celebrate our wonderful veterinary team! Drop a 💙 or share a kind word of appreciation in the comments!

Every surgery starts long before the first incision. It starts with a veterinary technician who has spent years mastering their skills, anticipating needs, monitoring vitals, and showing up fully prepared for every patient who comes through the door.

Vet techs are the heart of every OR team, and their skill and dedication make a difference every single day. At some VCA specialty hospitals, we take surgical collaboration even further. Some of our teams include Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) — professionals who earned specialized degrees specifically to support surgeons in the OR.

The result? Less time under anesthesia. Better outcomes. And a team that truly works as one. 💙

Because every patient is somebody's pet — and they deserve nothing less than the best.
