This handsome gentleman is Chewy! Chewy is an 8-month-old German Shepherd who is looking for his forever home. Chewy is a goofy, outgoing boy who loves attention and loves to work. He is very smart and would love an owner who can keep him busy and keep up on his training. He knows a few basic commands such as sit and down but will need continued training in his new home. Chewy has lived with other like-sized dogs previously and has done well. He has also lived with kids and would do well with dog savvy children. A meet and greet is required with any resident dogs in the home before adoption. Chewy is and athletic, active dog who would be a perfect adventure dog. Animals automatically drop of the website after the hold is up, when they are claimed, adopted, etc.
*Strays may be given temp names which are likely not the actual name of your pet.
**If this is your pet and you do not wish to reclaim/keep them please still let the shelter know so the animal doesn’t need to remain on stay hold. We would also appreciate information that might help us care for them better.

All non-microchipped stray dogs and cats claimed by their owners here at CASA will be offered a free microchip implantation.

❤ ADOPTABLE - TOBY ❤

Our incredibly sweet and sensitive boy, Toby is back to no fault of his own and he's on the hunt for his forever home! This poor 10-year-old man unfortunately had an infection in his jaw that caused him to lose his eye and despite the loss, Toby is still standing strong. When first meeting, Toby can very timid but with a bit of affection, he'll warm right up. He loves calm and quiet environments. Once he feels comfortable, Toby is incredibly lovey and can get a bit intense with his love-aggression. He's a typical Siamese with a dominant affectionate side. Toby can be the biggest cuddle monster, and he has the CUTEST purr! However, Toby wants to feel confident in himself, so he's not a huge fan of being picked up because it makes him feel a bit insecure. Due to his nervous personality, Toby would prefer a home with no children younger than 13 years old and no other animals.

Last week was amazing for both dog AND cat adoptions! So many furry friends found their forever homes where we just know they'll live their best lives! It is so exciting to see so many of our animal friends go home get chosen by loving families!

And none of this would even be possible without you, our amazing community, for supporting us and helping us give all of these animals another chance at being loved.
We wish all our CASA alumni's happy lives with their new families!

Microchips provide lifetime identification for your pet. Unlike collars and tags a microchip cannot be removed. Should your beloved furry friend become lost, a microchip can expedite the return process. Call CASA today to schedule your appointment! The process is relatively quick, and our trained staff will take excellent care to ensure the process is smooth for both owners and pets.
