EDIT: ALL THESE PUPPIES HAVE FOUND HOMES
There are 3 female German Shepherd/ Husky cross pups were found dumped near Bieri Rd and Clarksburg Rd. A neighbor is taking care of them, but can't keep them. We believe they are about 10 weeks old, just received their first round of shots and Credelio. Please contact Holly at 573-694-1899 for more info. THESE DOGS ARE NOT AT THE CLINIC.

MISSING: Jethro, 1 year old bloodhound missing off Prairie Hill Rd near High Point area off of Prairie Hill Rd he left with a black and gray cattle dog he has spot on his tail that is missing some fur. If found please call Melissa at 573-280-5368

Make sure to have your cattle on High-Mag Mineral. We have treated several cases in the last week.

Grass tetany is a highly fatal disease associated with low levels of magnesium (Mg) in the blood.
Grass tetany can affect all classes of cattle, but older cows with calves on their side during late winter and early spring are most at risk. Animals suffering from grass tetany are often found dead. There may be signs of struggle on the ground beside the animal indicating they were leg paddling before death. Early signs include some excitability with muscle twitching, an exaggerated awareness, stiff gait, or found in lateral recumbency (flat on their side). Animals may appear aggressive and may progress through galloping, bellowing and then staggering. In less severe
cases the only signs may be a change in the character of the animal and difficulty in handling.

Regular heartworm test normal price is $31, special price will be $26. 4DX (heart worm and tick born diseases) regular price is $55, special price is $50. Please call the clinic at 573-796-3168 to schedule your appointment. We have several rebates on heartworm preventatives as well as flea/tick products at this time.
WE ALSO HAVE INJECTIBLE OPTIONS FOR BOTH FLEA/TICK AND HEARTWORM PREVENTATIVES, FOR THOSE DOGS THAT ARE HARD TO GET TABLETS OR CHEWS DOWN.
