ADOPT ME‼️🐾
Meet Milo! This handsome boy is ready to find his forever home! 💙🐾
Milo is an approximately 2-year-old, 40-pound Poodle mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He came into our care as an owner surrender after his previous owner experienced health concerns and could no longer provide him with the care he deserved.
Y'all, you would NOT believe this is the same dog I picked up just a few short weeks ago! We were told Milo was a Labradoodle, but after getting all that matted hair removed, I'm not sure I see much Lab in there! I'm pretty sure he was carrying around an extra 10 pounds of hair!
A HUGE shoutout to Kiara Webb, owner of Mack Avenue, for squeezing Milo in on short notice and giving him the makeover he desperately needed! Regular grooming upkeep will be required of the adopter. Please only apply if you are able to maintain that financial commitment.
Kiara is also one of my rockstar repeat fosters and has been loving this sweet boy so well. He's already got her wrapped around his paw!
Milo is a happy, affectionate, energetic boy who loves kids, other dogs, and even cats! He is most comfortable with dogs his size or smaller and may need a little time to warm up to larger dogs. He does occasionally jump when excited, but he's still young and learning!
Milo knows basic commands, is potty trained, and is doing well with kennel training. He loves to play, chew on toys, and stay active, so we believe a securely fenced yard would be ideal. He is still working on leash manners and was known to wander at his previous home, so keeping him safe and secure is especially important to us. He's also gotten carsick a few times, although that may have been the driver's fault. Whoops!
Milo is fully vetted, neutered, current on vaccines, and up to date on monthly preventatives.
One of the sweetest things about Milo is how attached he becomes to his person. Once he feels comfortable, he wants to be right by your side, soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He's the kind of dog who will quickly become your shadow and your best friend!
Milo will need a family who understands that he's still a young, active dog who needs continued training, patience, and plenty of opportunities to play. In return, you'll get a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be part of your world.
Milo has already been through quite a bit of change, and we're determined to make his next chapter his very best one. He deserves a family who will love him for the rest of his life!
