Two weeks old! We all have our eyes open, but we don’t see well yet. Our favorite things to do are sleep, cuddle, and find mom🐾🐶❤️. This week we should start reacting to sound and lifting our bellies up to prepare for walking instead of scooting.

I needed a few days before finding the words to share this. On Friday night, we said goodbye to our sweet little Boone. 🤍

His time with us was far too short, but he was loved deeply. We had imagined watching him grow, seeing his personality unfold, and someday placing him in the arms of a family who would adore him. Saying goodbye to those little dreams has been heartbreaking.

Boone was part of our family, and his little life deserves to be remembered. I am grateful for every moment that I had with him.

Rest sweetly, little Boone. You were loved from the very beginning. 🐾🤍
