That’s a wrap on Staff Appreciation Week 2026! Thank you to everyone who helped us make it extra special! To our amazing staff - we appreciate you and all you do every day!

For Staff Appreciation Week, we asked our team one question: Why did you choose veterinary medicine?

Our Veterinary Assistants, Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Partner Veterinarians, Associate Veterinarians, Pet Care Assistants, Client Care Assistants, and Management is what makes our clinic run and are the reason we're able to provide you and your pets with exceptional medicine. Each of us has our own reason for doing what we do, but one thing brings us all together: our love for animals and the people who care for them.

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible people who make our hospitals so special. Thank you for bringing your heart, passion, and purpose to work every single day!

Important: Recall on Compounded Medications

Wedgewood Pharmacy (who is affiliated with our online pharmacy partner, Blue Rabbit), issued a voluntary recall for certain compounded medications shipped between February 18, 2026, and October 6, 2026 (including oral suspensions, gels, ointments, pastes, and injectables). Impacted medications may have potency inconsistencies.

What you should do:
- Check your meds: Look at any compounded product labels from Wedgewood Pharmacy.
- Verify your lot number: Check if your product is affected using their recall tool: wedgewood.com/recall-lookup/
- Contact us before stopping: If your pet's medication is recalled, do not abruptly stop administering critical treatments. Call our clinic first so we can help transition your pet to a safe alternative.
- Monitor your pet: Watch for any changes in behavior or symptoms.

Your pet's safety is our top priority. Please call our team at Cascade Hospital for Animals at (616) 900-9150 if you have any questions or need help checking your prescriptions!

This Vet Tech Appreciation week, we wanted to know why our Licensed Veterinary Technicians chose this career, and why our Veterinarian team appreciates them!

They truly are the best, and we couldn't do it without them, our Veterinary Assistants, Pet Care Assistants, and Client Care Assistants!💞🐾

The team that makes our hospital run! We couldn't do it without our INCREDIBLE staff who show up for your pets day in and day out. We have the best team and we are so grateful for them!💞🐾

This is just some of our team, it's hard to get 3 clinics and 100 staff members in the same place at the same time! Also a big shoutout to our management team for their efforts behind the scenes and helping make sure all 3 clinics run smoothly!
