Our “Z” babies🥰. Zip, Zara, Zuri, and Zoey. Zip , the little boy of the group is a real love bug, Zuri is our little beauty queen and she loves to be told this, and Zoey and Zara are the brains of the family. Those little girls a very sharp and inquisitive duo🧠🧠. This little family is around 12 weeks. These three tiny kittens were abandoned at a cemetery in Calais.

The saddest part? These babies clearly came from a home. They love being held and purr to be with people. They are social, loving and oh so cute.

Right now, they are safe and being cared for, and we will find them homes where they will be cherished the way every animal deserves.

It is illegal to abandon animals, and it’s cruel. Leaving kittens at cemeteries, parks, roadside pull-offs, or “where someone will find them” is extremely dangerous. Many do not survive exposure, predators, disease, cars, or starvation. Luckily, in this case, a kind dog walker found them in time. It could have ended very differently.

If you are struggling with unwanted kittens, please reach out to a shelter or rescue before abandoning them. There are people who want to help, even when resources are limited.🐾

Carrie has kept life interesting the past 3-4 yrs at PAWS😁. With her BIG personality and commanding ways , it could often turn families away. But today we can say with certainty Carrie found a most wonderful mom who can understand Carrie’s needs and wants💜. We will miss not having our big boss around the rescue but we have 2 other up and coming girl bosses waiting to fill that position🥰. ‼️🐾Seeing comments about dogs spay/neuter clinics~We have been working to get a dog spay/neuter clinic since we lost BackRoads Spay/ Neuter in 2022 with no luck. 🐾‼️

Plenty of time to save up and sign up!
• Female cats: $140
• Male cats: $110

We have a very limited number of vouchers available for those who qualify.
To receive a voucher, you must provide proof of SSI, Food Stamps, or TANF.

If you tried to get into April’s clinic and were not able to, YOU WILL NEED TO CALL AGAIN FOR THE June clinic. Spots do not carry over.

🐱 Age & Weight Requirements
Kittens must be at least 8 weeks old AND 2.2 pounds to be altered.
