2026 PRICE LIST & INFORMATION
The price list and offered services are below in the picture.
We take deer in by appointment only.
You will not find our shop address on our page on purpose. Our shop is at our home, we live a good ways off the road and we are not always here. This keeps people from showing up unexpectedly.
Deposits will be due @ time of drop off, no exceptions.
Shoulder Mount: $300.00 minimum.
European Mount: $80.00 minimum.
We accept Cash, Cash App, and PayPal. We will accept checks if you are local. If using Cash App or PayPal there will be a $20 fee whether it’s for a deposit or the cost of the mount.
Pick Up Policy - I will be FIRM this year on this, due to limited space after completion of mount you will have 20 days to pick it up. If not picked up by then you will be charged $10.00 a day up to 40 days for storage. If not picked up after 60 days I have the option to sell your mount. This is a small business and my main income, it’s what I rely on to pay my bills. Please be considerate of that when your mount is complete.
Out of State Hunter Pick Up Policy - it is the same as above, but I will work with you on this. Communicate with me at the time of drop off your plans of coming back and I’ll make note of it, I can hold off and mount it closer to the time that best suits you.
Shipping- if I have to ship your mount after completion the mount itself must be paid for in full at time of drop off. After completion you will deal directly with UPS and pay over the phone for that as they have many packaging options available. Just a heads up - this can be very expensive.
European Mounts - fast is not always better. This is not a three day or even a week process. We beetle feed our skulls , we will have two tanks going - no more than two skulls go in a tank at a time and we normally leave them in there three to four days depending upon how fast they are working. After removing from the tank we then degrease the skulls properly and this is what takes the most time as each skull is different grease wise. If you are unable to drop your deer off the day of harvest freeze it. We will have an automatic $40.00 up-charge for rotten heads as we will not feed those to the beetles. WAIT TIME : expect 1 to 2 months
Tanning - I do not do my own tanning. No skin is guaranteed from the tannery. Proper field care is required as soon as the deer is harvested. Hair slippage can happen very fast. Heat, dragging, bacteria, moisture, taking too long to skin will cause hair slippage. I transport the capes myself to the tannery, I will not ever ship a cape without the customers permission.
Field Dressing / Skinning / Caping - take your time, be cautious of how far you cut up into the brisket. Please make sure the armpit area is intact and not missing. Look up proper caping techniques if need be. I like to tell my customers the more cape the better, I’ll never complain about receiving too much. If you just aren’t sure or don’t want to mess up if we are available we will cape it out for you for a charge of $40.00.
Extra Capes- I need them. I want nice, “pretty” capes I guess you could say from mature bucks - with no hair slippage, no rubbing marks, and no excess of scars. I know no deer cape is perfect but you get my drift. If you’re unsure of the shape it’s in or what I’m looking for I encourage you to reach out to me - just shoot me a picture over.
💲50.00 discount towards your euro if you take the extra time to cape it out as if you were getting a shoulder mount. It must come from a mature buck, be caped out correctly, dropped off the day of harvest, and checked by us before we honor the discount.
💲25.00 discount towards your euro if you bring the deer to us and we cape it out for the exchange of your cape. Like above states, it must be in good shape, be from a mature buck, and brought to us the day of harvest. We will check cape upon arrival before caping / honoring discount.
We offer these discounts because it allows us to help other hunters who may not have caped out their deer correctly, or maybe they didn’t find their deer in time and the cape went bad, predators may have got to it, etc. Help us help them.
Cape Out Services are only available if we are, on weekdays we won’t be able to help until the evenings more than likely - but if you’re okay with that we will make it happen.
Rush Fee for Shoulder Mount - limited spots will be available. It will be added to the rush list in the order it was received. This does not guarantee a time frame - but you will be 100% priority when I receive your cape back from the tannery.
As far as time frames I do not like to give them for the fact none of us know what tomorrow brings. This year I will be in the shop a lot more with it being my main job and priority. I do help out at other work places when needed - they are very flexible, encourage me, and support me in putting my taxidermy work first.
