ADOPTION NEWS: LSAR, Lone Star Akita Rescue is pleased to announce that the Georges’ from Shreveport, LA had a meet & greet with is little boy and have decided to adopt him. They have decided to name him Kasei (Japanese for Mars). They are on the road now heading back to his new furever home. We wish them all a happy life. Kita is a friendly girl with a lot of energy. It is recommended that she be the only dog in the household and no cats! Dropping your dog/cat off at the shelter or country road, because you moved or some other p**s poor excuse, is like taking your child or 85 yr old parent/grandmother to a street corner, leaving them and taking off. Karma is a bitch, 10 fold.

ADOPTION UPDATE: Thanks to the Hansens' for providing the transport, Kuma made it safely to the halfway point to have his meet & greet with his new mommy Carol. You can just see the excitement in both of their faces! Now Kuma is going to spend a plush night in a hotel room before he and Carol head to his new furever home in AZ! Safe travels buddy! 👍 😎
