Today we had some Border Collie puppies in for their BAER hearing tests, vaccines, microchips, and good puppy pats! 😍🐶

A BAER hearing test is similar to the routine hearing test done on newborns in the hospital prior to discharge! A way to ensure your best friend CAN hear… and if they don’t listen, it’s just personal 😉

🤔 Pet & Livestock Health Update: Understanding Screwworms

Hey Cache community! As your local vet clinic, we’re here to help keep your animals healthy and happy. There have been some reports of New World screwworms (a type of parasitic fly larva), and we want to share helpful information about what they are.

❓What are screwworms?
New World screwworms are the larvae of a fly (Cochliomyia hominivorax) that can lay eggs in open wounds, sores, or moist areas on warm-blooded animals like dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and wildlife.

We’re always here for exams, treatments, and guidance to keep your pets and livestock in good shape.
