Prepping the fall garden, and evicting a tenant 🔥
There's a mole who loves tunneling under my silage tarps. So after the tarp killed off the grass, I moved it over—now he's got to dig his whole subway system from scratch. Then I flame weeded the stragglers that popped up. Next comes compost and broadforking as I plant.
Copper supervised, then took a swim break. 🐾

New solar panels are here and they’re huge. Been running this whole place on a few 100W babies, so this is a big step up. Well and hoop house first, rest later. ☀️

CNG inspection today—and we passed with a recommendation. 🌱
Thank you Cory Babb of for coming out this morning. Certified Naturally Grown is peer-reviewed—farmers inspecting farmers—and that's exactly why I wanted it. Someone who grows food came and looked at how I grow food.
The food world out there is scary. It's hard to know what to trust or who's telling the truth. Here's what I love about CNG: the inspection report is public. Anyone can look up my farm and read exactly what was checked and what I use. No mystery, no marketing. Just the receipts.
The standards are built on the same rules as USDA Organic—the difference is you don't have to take my word for it. You can go look.
I'm proud of how I grow. Now you can see it for yourself.
