Great Dane Besties!

Willow had her very first day out in Playcare, and she found the perfect playcare partner almost instantly. Indie, another Great Dane!

It’s not every day these two get to see another dog their own size, so when they spotted each other, they knew they had found something special! These two big beauties found each other and it was GAME ON from there!

There was no awkward introduction, no warming up needed. Just two Great Danes realizing they finally had someone who could keep up with their giant-dog energy!

Sometimes all a pup needs is a cozy lap and some cuddles!

JayJay found the perfect spot with Sim and was more than happy to settle in for some extra love and attention. A big shoutout to Sim for always taking the time to make our pups feel safe, loved, and special! It’s those little moments of connection that make such a difference.

We’re so lucky to have staff who genuinely love what they do and love these pups as their own! 💕

Today is a bittersweet day as we say goodbye to the sweet Lyra as she heads off to her new adventure in Indianapolis! 💕

Lyra has been coming to Playcare twice a week, and she has definitely made a special place in all of our hearts. This girl is full of energy and absolutely loves life! She always comes in ready to have a great day, soak up some attention, and make the most of every moment. And when she’s ready for some extra love, Lyra is more than happy to climb right into a staff member’s lap for cuddles.

Lyra is also a big fan of swimming in the pond, and we know those pond adventures are going to be some of the things she misses most! And if you’ve ever gotten close enough to her, you already know Lyra is a BIG face licker. She has always been more than happy to show her love with plenty of kisses!

Behind all that energy is the sweetest girl with such a fun and loving personality. Lyra has brought so much happiness and laughter to our days, and we are so grateful we got to be part of her life. Seeing her come in twice a week and watching her enjoy every minute of her time with us has been such a joy.

We are going to miss that happy face, her big personality, her cuddles, her endless energy, and, of course, all those kisses. Playcare just won’t be quite the same without her!

Lyra, we hope your move to Indianapolis brings you so many new adventures, new friends, plenty of cuddles, and lots of reasons to keep loving life as much as you always have. You will always have friends here at Leashes & Leads, and we are going to miss you more than you know. 💕 Safe travels, sweet girl!

We’ll pick up your pup, bring them to Leashes & Leads for a full day of playing, socializing, and making memories, then get them safely back home when the day is done.

He found himself a nice little patch of sunshine, stretched out those little legs, and decided it was the perfect time for a mid-day lounge session. 💤

Just look at that face!

Pepper is giving us the sweetest little “excuse me, do you have a minute?” look during her boarding stay. She’s been soaking up all the attention and making herself right at home while she’s here!

We love getting to spend extra time with our boarding pups and making their stay feel like a fun little vacation. 💗

Back to school means squeezing in as many cuddles as possible before Carly’s schedule gets a little busier! 📚

Carly and Brian the Hound got in some extra cuddle time in Structured Play before she heads back to school. We’ll still get to see her on the weekends, but we’re definitely going to miss having her around as much during the week!

We’re so proud of Carly and excited for her as she heads back to school. She is truly the best, and we love having her as part of our Leashes & Leads family!

🎉 Happy 1st Birthday, Bea! 🎉

Help us wish a very happy first birthday to Bea, the American Pit Bull Terrier mix!

Bea started her journey with us in our K9 Academy Puppy Program, where she trained alongside her brother, Bojji, and her uncle, Griffin. From the very beginning, Bea was such a smart and people-motivated girl! She was a great listener, loved learning, and was always so much fun to work with. She quickly showed us that she was ready to learn anything we threw her way!

As Bea grew up, she made the move to Structured Play, where she now gets to come in and enjoy some fun with her brother. One of our favorite things about Bea is how well she adjusts her playstyle to match the dogs around her. She knows when to turn up the fun and when to slow things down, making her a wonderful playmate for all kinds of personalities.

It has been so much fun watching Bea grow from a clever little puppy into the happy, confident one-year-old she is today. We love getting to see her personality shine every time she comes through our doors!
