2020 Model Grade Sorrel Gelding - 15 hh

Freddy is a big sweetheart, he will follow someone around all day just like a puppy dog. He gets along with everyone well. We think that just about anyone could ride Freddy and enjoy him! He’s an awesome trail horse, confident and patient. He has a great handle in the arena, rides around one handed. Freddy has done all of the ranch chores, been roped off of, sorted, gathered, you name it. An all around awesome horse to have around. PPE Are welcome, transport can be arranged.

Gabe has so many positive attributes including his beautiful one hand neck rein, his comforting confidence, and his willingness to please his rider. Gabe is not only excellent in the arena but he is one of the best trail horses I’ve sat on in a long time. He rides off alone, in a group, he leads, follows, does it all with confidence and goes exactly where you ask him to go and at the speed you ask for. Gabe would make an excellent play day horse for a youth, he has the heart and experience to go to work on the ranch, or you can enjoy him on any and every trail your heart desires. He lopes beautiful circles and has a nice ground covering trot. He will walk along all day long with his head down if thats what you ask of him. Side passes both ways to open and shut gates, has a big stop and great back up. Gabe’s only flaw is that he does have a pretty ugly scar on his left hip, it does not effect his soundness. He is excellent to catch whether its in a pasture, stall, or otherwise. Stands like a gentleman for a bath, to shoe, saddle, fly spray, etc.

Trev left for a horse sale this morning and jokingly told me I cost us too much money at horse sales, so I should probably stay home and start working on sale videos for the horses we already have.

Sooo whatever, he does have a point πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ so I got to work at home.

I got on this gelding and by the time the ride was over I was on the phone telling Trevor I found a way to cost us money without even going to the sale…

BECAUSE THIS ONE IS NO LONGER FOR SALE 🀣

I’m thinking he will be a perfect candidate for our most favorite sale, Salmon Select Horse Sale next April!

I’m not sure if you needed to hear this today too, but it was a reminder that truly settled me. I feel like I’m always in a hurry, always panicking about beating some imaginary timeline, always feeling like I’m window shopping at what I want out of life instead of appreciating what is right in front of us.

We’ve all got this, our time will come πŸ’•

This morning we woke up to dark clouds, lightning in the distance and SEVENTY EIGHT DEGREE WEATHER. We literally ran outside like a bunch of kids screaming and dancing 🀣 After weeks upon weeks of over 100 degree weather we all happily got right to work and once the rain started coming down we were even happier. We all know Trevor won’t melt πŸ˜‰

Just take a look at his papers! Grays Starlight, Shine Chic Shine, Peppy San Badger, Doc Quixote, Smart Chic Olena, Hang Ten Surprize all on his papers. But the best part about Viper, is that he doesn’t need his papers to tell him he’s special, he just knows. He rides the part and acts the part each and every day.

Viper is only 6 years old, still young enough to go in absolutely any direction you’d like. He’s started lightly on the heel side, he’s a solid ranch horse, we see him being an excellent candidate for ranch versatility classes, he would be a super fun ranch sorter, he’s awesome with obstacles, he’s fun out on the trail, and he’s smart and kind. HE IS VERSATILE!

Viper is talented, responsive and ready to go be your go-to horse. He lopes beautiful circles, has great speed transitions, lead departures, stop, spin, backup, side pass, he’s got the buttons.

Not to mention he’s a handsome boy, with a puppy dog like attitude, easy to catch, great to be groomed and saddled, good for the farrier, we can’t say enough about him.

Yodel has been such a fun little horse to have around, not to mention he’s sure cool to look at. Yodel was a 12 year old boys personal mount for a couple years until he decided that he wanted to sell his horse to come up with the money for a solid head horse. While he had Yodel he went and did day work at big ranch operations, and Yodel would tie off to the biggest mama cows in the herd and keep up with the best of em. An honest day of work is nothing new to Yodel, he has seen and done it all out on the ranch. Sorting, gathering, doctoring and branding. Yodel is excellent out on the trails. He doesn’t have little man syndrome like you’ll see in some of those smaller horses. He will stand quiet and patient until you ask for anything else. Yodel will cross water without batting an eye and doesn’t mind wildlife, fourwheelers, dogs etc being up in his business. Yodel is a fun little horse to cruise around the barrels! He’d make a good youth rodeo horse I’d imagine as long as you weren’t looking to go keep up with 1 or 2d horses. If you can find a horse to out walk Yodel I’d be amazed! He will really turn around, rides around one handed with a BIG stop and great all around handle. Fun lope, ground covering long trot and good minded! He’s 100% sound up to date on floating and vaccinations. Age vet confirmed.
