No one claimed this beautiful boy so heโ€™s up for adoption. His original owner called to tell us his breed, his name, and his age. She had given him to another person who knows we have him who has made no effort to claim him. Legally he now belongs to the county shelter. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Heโ€™s fixed, he knows commands, and heโ€™s the sweetest boy. She said heโ€™s 18 months old and at a mere 102 pounds, heโ€™s just a baby.

If you are interested in this boy please complete an application. Iโ€™ll pin the application at the top of our posts for anyone who would like to be considered.

She did tell us heโ€™s dog friendly with dogs more his size than the little ones. He chases cats but doesnโ€™t hurt them. He did well with the shelter cat.

We are running our own special with adoptions just $20.

We have incredible dogs waiting for a second chance. These babies didnโ€™t deserve to land here at the shelter. Nor do they deserve to stay here forever.

Please consider adopting one of these sweet souls. Shelter dogs truly are special as they know what itโ€™s like to be disappointed so they love hard if given another chance.

Weโ€™re excited to share that The Economic Veterinary Initiative (EVI) is partnering with Friends of the Shelter, Inc./ SPCA KY (FOTS) to offer low-cost spay & neuter services for Pendleton Countyโ€“owned and stray cats.

**If financial assistance is needed, please contact Humane Society of Northern Kentucky via Facebook Messenger. We have limited funds to offset costs on up to 10 cats per month (limit 2 cats per family). The Humane Society of Northern Kentucky Inc has a goal of 50 Kuranda beds for our new shelter โ€” enough to place a bed in every interior kennel and add beds to our outdoor exercise yards so dogs can get up off the gravel while they burn off some pent-up energy.

We are so incredibly grateful for your continued support of the Pendleton County Animal Shelter. Because of YOU, amazing things are happening!

Weโ€™re excited to share the Humane Society of Northern Kentucky Inc is in the final stages of completing the brand-new animal shelter building that will serve our county. We are looking forward to transitioning to the new site in the coming months โ€” and we truly couldnโ€™t have made it this far without the generosity of so many individuals and local businesses.
