❤️ Please join me this week as we thank and recognize the hard working team that keeps this place running!!! From the front desk to the veterinary technicians and assistants to the administrative help, each one plays a vital role and in some cases, multiple roles! Without this dedicated group of professionals, your pets would not get the amazing care that they all deserve so much. I am thankful for them every day but as we celebrate VET TEAM WEEK, lets show them a little extra appreciation, because one week just doesn't seem like enough!!

This week we celebrate the hardworking, backbone of the office, and simply all-around amazing veterinary team! Emily, Lacy, Lauren and Nancy answer calls, provide skilled nursing care, hold hands, wipe tears, booties and everything in between. They can do everything from drawing blood on a 2 pound kitten to anesthetizing a 150 pound supermutt! This team has skills beyond measure, hearts bigger than the oceans, unwavering dedication and a get it done attitude that never quits, no matter what. I am incredibly grateful for each one of them and I hope you will join me in celebrating Veterinary TEAM Week, all week long. They certainly deserve it, Dr Karner

“Dolly” the 12 week old basset hound needed help keeping her ears out of her cheese!! So Lacy’s scrunchie came in handy and we just tied those ears back and Dolly finished her cheese with ease! 🧀🥰🤗

Mr. Giraffe has not found his tiny human yet, so he’s been exploring the clinic! Recently, he has become buddies with Pascal the lobby leopard gecko.
Mr. Giraffe has alerted us that Pascal is currently shedding his skin! This means we need to pay very close attention to the heat and humidity in his tank so that Pasqual can get all of that old skin off and be comfortable in his new skin that is underneath.
If you know Mr. Giraffe’s owner- he is still on the Pennsylvania 10 day hold as required by state to all strays! Give us a call to claim 724-287-5289 He will be available for adoption after the 10 day hold. 🦒🥰🤝🤗

Did you know cats can actually sense the season changing before you do? 🍂

Shorter daylight hours trigger shifts in your cat's behavior, appetite, and sleep patterns. You might notice them eating a little more, sleeping longer, or seeking out warmer spots around the house as October sets in. It's completely normal and just their body responding to the change in light. 🐱 suburbananimalclinicbutler-pa.com
