The last full week of April is . Veterinary clinic front desk staff are literally at the “front lines”, working hard to serve clients, screen calls for level of urgency and keep things running smoothly – from scheduling your appointments, coordinating with the technicians and doctors, and getting you and your pet checked out, they literally do it all! And we couldn’t do what we do without them. If you talk to our receptionists in the coming weeks, let them know you appreciate them as much as Maizie does!

Starting today, April 17th, it’s ! Losing your pet is an anxiety-inducing event, so increase your odds of finding them again by getting them both an ID collar tag and microchipped.

Our clinic recommends HomeAgain microchips; the purchase and placement cost of one of their microchips includes permanent enrollment to their National Pet Recovery Database, and you can freely update your stored contact information and the registered pet’s information as well. They also offer a premium membership with some great perks, including access to their 24/7 medical hotline at no extra charge!

For animals that get separated from their owners, proper identification is a ticket home. Microchips are a safe and reliable method of permanent identification.
