🌸🌼 **Reminder: Bring a Flat to Plant is Tomorrow!** 🌼🌸
Rain or shine!

Join us tomorrow, **June 6th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM**, at the **Humane Society of Genesee County** for our annual **Bring a Flat to Plant** event!

Help us beautify our grounds while spending time with fellow volunteers and friends—new and familiar. 💚🐾

**A few reminders:**
🌷 Please bring a flat of flowers (we are looking for:
• White Petunias
• Red Petunias
• Purple Petunias

🌷 Plan for approximately **1 flat of flowers for every 3 people planting**

🌷 Bring your own garden hand tools

🌷 The garden beds will be prepped and ready for planting

🌷 Lunch will be provided!

We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow and work together to make our campus bloom for the season. Thank you for helping make a difference for the animals and the people who love them! 🌸🐶🐱

🐹💕 Looking for a small pet with a BIG personality? We have LOTS of guinea pigs available for adoption at the Humane Society of Genesee County!

These adorable companions are social, entertaining, and make wonderful pets for families and individuals alike. Many are waiting for their second chance at a loving home. Some guinea pigs may be bonded pairs and will need to be adopted together!

Huge shout out to these students from Mott Middle College! They submitted an application to the Mott Foundation Youth Choice Awards where if their project was chosen, they would receive a check for $1,926.00. Their project was titled "FURever Loved". The students wanted to help local animals. For their application, students had to describe their project, how it would benefit the community, and how they would use the money. The students were awarded the money and donated items to The Humane Society of Genesee County, Streethearts Animal Rescue, and Genesee County Animal Care by choosing items from each organization's wish list. What a GREAT way to help local animals!
