Meet Tangelo!
Somehow, our handsome mystery man is still here.
Tangelo has been in the shelter for almost 50 days now, and we genuinely don’t understand how this boy keeps getting overlooked.
Tangelo originally came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. We don’t know much about his life before us, but one thing was obvious from the beginning someone spent time with this dog. He knows basic commands, has great recall, is food motivated, walks well, and absolutely LOVES people.
He’s around 1.5 years old, incredibly intelligent, social, handsome as can be, and always eager to make a new friend. ❤️ And after nearly 50 days of shelter life, he’s more than ready for someone to finally look at him and say, “That’s my dog.”
Tangelo does well with dogs who are compatible with his play style, but he does need a cat-free home. He’s an active young dog with so much potential and would thrive with someone excited to keep working with that big brain of his!
Almost 50 days might not sound like forever to us, but for a dog who wakes up in the same kennel every morning, it’s a long time to wait.
