Starting Saturday, August 22nd, The Dirty Dog will now be OPEN EVERY SATURDAY for grooming appointments, unless otherwise posted!

We know weekday appointments don’t always work with everyone’s schedule, so we’re excited to offer another option for our customers and their furry family members. 🩵

🐾 Meet Sarah, Our New Groomer! 🐾

Sarah is a Yancey County local with a lifelong passion for animals. She began working with dogs in 2010 and has experience in veterinary settings, boarding, doggy daycare, kennel management, and more. After being trained by a Master Groomer in Asheville, she has now been grooming for almost 6 years!

Sarah especially loves working with anxious dogs and dogs who may have had difficult grooming experiences in the past, helping them feel safe and comfortable again. Senior pups also hold an extra special place in her heart. ❤️

She is passionate about continuing her education and growing as a groomer so she can provide the very best care for every dog she works with.

Outside of grooming, Sarah loves spending time with her husband, Logan, and their dogs, hiking, gardening, wildlife photography, and enjoying the outdoors.

We’re so excited to welcome Sarah to The Dirty Dog family! 🐶✂️❤️

We’re excited to introduce Jess, who will be helping us out this summer! If you've been trying to get your pup scheduled, this is the perfect time—we currently have grooming availability next week!

Hi everyone! 👋
My name is Jess, and I’m from Asheville, NC. I’ve been grooming dogs for over 20 years, starting when I was just 13 years old. I’m passionate about helping every dog look and feel their very best! I have experience grooming a wide variety of breeds, including Shih Tzus, Yorkies, Doodles, Schnauzers, Standard Poodles, Toy Poodles, and many more. Whether your pup needs a breed-standard groom, a tidy-up, or a fresh new look, I’d love the opportunity to work with them.

At The Dirty Dog, we want to take a moment to say thank you for supporting us. We truly strive to provide the best care possible for every customer who walks through our doors. Your support means more to us than you know.

As we head into a fun and busy summer season, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful when scheduling appointments. At this time, we are currently booking approximately 4 weeks out and do maintain an active cancellation list. We love all of our clients and wish we could get everyone in as quickly as possible, but we can only accommodate so many appointments at a time.

Please be respectful when calling and scheduling appointments. If you are a regular, we encourage you to book your future appointments before you leave your current appointment! If you are calling for a same-week appointment, it is highly likely we will not have availability. Planning ahead is the best way to ensure your pup gets on our schedule!
