We had a great time at the Burnet Farmers & Crafts Market this morning! Check out our haul. We can’t wait to eat all this yummy, home grown, home made food today! Hearth and Hollow Artisan Sourdough Bakery, Evie’s Eggs, and farmer Mike are all amazing to work with and always have yummy items! Come by next week and check out all the other local venders. It’s definitely worth it!

After getting found out by the local raccoon population, we had to figure something out to keep our little birdies safe. After much contemplation, adhd sidetracks, brainstorming, and more adhd sidetracks this is what we came up with. It’s honestly VERY simple (which says a lot coming from me lol) and not too expensive and after losing birds every single night for the last week, I’m happy to report we had zero casualties this morning. I’m still super happy with my Guidroz Family Farm cage and think these things absolutely can not be beat for the money and their all inclusiveness and am a firm believer in that if you are thinking of getting a battery type cage for Coturnix quail they are absolutely where you should look. We would most definitely not be able to breed these beautiful birds without these cages.
