This family has a daughter with serious health concerns, which now means they need to make a VERY hard, but loving, choice for their whole family. If anyone can offer these two pups a loving forever home, please reach out to me via DM.

Looking for Loving Homes for Bear & Dobby i
This is an incredibly difficult post for me to make, and it's not a decision I've made lightly.
Unfortunately, due to my daughter's ongoing medical needs, l've come to the heartbreaking decision that we need to rehome our two dogs, Bear and Dobby.
🩷🩷Since my daughter had surgery and got her feeding tube, keeping our home as clean and sanitary as she needs has become increasingly difficult. No matter how often I vacuum, mop, or clean, the dog hair is impossible to keep up with and has even been getting around her surgical site.
Her health and safety have to come first.
🐾Bear - German Shepherd
Bear is our goofy, playful German Shepherd. He loves going for walks, hiking, and pretty much anywhere you want to take him. He's happiest when he's included in the adventure and gets to spend time with his people. Bear is selective about his dog friends and is not the best with cats, so he would need to meet any other dogs carefully and go to a cat-free home. However, he absolutely loves kids-he is practically obsessed with them and gets so excited to be around them. We're hoping to find him a loving home where he can be comfortable, happy, active, and truly part of the family. Bears around 7-8 years old. He is very smart and eager to learn!
🐾Dobby - Our Special Boy
Dobby is especially close to our hearts. He's more on the skittish side and doesn't really like leaving the house, so he would do best in a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and comfortable. We believe he would be happiest in a home without young children, or with older children who understand that he needs space and time to warm up. Dobby is two years old and he is a mix a large breed. Dobby is so dizzy. It's funny. He knows how to sit, but it's hard for him so we've honestly just let him be who he wants to be. Dobby also has some physical challenges, including suspected wobbler syndrome and hip/ elbow dysplasia, so he needs a family that understands he may require extra care, patience, and accommodations. He needs a home with carpeted areas or plenty of rugs because he has trouble keeping traction on hard floors when he walks. He also needs someone with true patience and understanding, as it can sometimes take him a while to get where he needs to go. We want to make sure he goes somewhere that can support his needs and give him the love he deserves. We have always had a doggie door so they have constant access outside. Bear is potty trained dobby has always had constant access to outside.
• We would truly love for Bear and Dobby to go to the same home. Dobby genuinely looks up to Bear, and they are best friends. Bear gives Dobby confidence and comfort, and keeping them together would make this difficult transition much easier for both of them. While finding them a home together is our greatest hope, the most important thing is that each dog ends up safe, loved, and well cared for.
• Please understand that this is not because we don't love our dogs. It's quite the opposite. They are part of our family, and making this decision hurts. But with everything surrounding our daughter's medical care, we simply cannot provide the environment that both she and the dogs need.
We are not looking to just give them away to anyone. Finding a safe, loving, permanent home ideally one where they can stay together is extremely important to us. We want a family who understands the lifelong commitment of owning dogs and is prepared to give Bear and Dobby the patience, care, and love they deserve.
If you're genuinely interested, please reach out and tell me a little about yourself, your home, and the life you could offer them.
Please be kind. This is already an emotional decision for our family. 🩷
