Charolette and her Littles 💜
I often get asked, "Who's your favorite?" or "Can you already tell if they're going to be lap cats?" when the kittens are as young as four weeks—or sometimes even younger.

Kittens under nine weeks are still growing, developing their walking skills and litter box habits, and just beginning to show interest in people. If I were to guess their temperaments now, they would likely change so much by the time they're almost ready to go home!

From 0 to 4 weeks, all they really care about is eating and sleeping. Some will roll onto their backs and enjoy belly rubs, while others go completely limp when I hold them.

From 4 to 6 weeks, their little personalities start to peek through. They begin to talk more and explore. Some might run up to me, curious and eager to be held, while others are still a bit shy, not quite comfortable with people yet.

From 6 to 9 weeks, all they care about is playing. Their whole world revolves around their siblings, and they may or may not show much interest in people yet. At this stage, I can usually tell which kittens are going to be the most playful. And once they go home? They get even more playful-because they no longer have their littermates around to wear them out!

From 10 to 12 weeks, I see the biggest transformations. Kittens who were once a little reserved can suddenly do a complete 180—becoming incredibly social and affectionate. Those I may have initially worried about being shy are now confident, relaxed, and snuggly. The super playful ones can range from being total cuddle bugs to just generally affectionate.

Temperament also depends on genetics. Every kitten is unique-no two are identical, and we never know exactly how much of each parent's personality they'll inherit.

And once they go to their new homes? Their personalities can change again! They often become more confident, or even more snuggly than I anticipated. Without their siblings around as distractions, you become their person. Watching them settle in and fully blossom is such a fun part of the journey!

Photo dump from yesterday!

I often get asked if I miss my kittens or if I have any personal pet cats myself! And I always say that | love raising kittens. I love taking care of them when they're born, watching them grow up and become more confident and especially seeing other people play with them and get to know them. I enjoy that process very much and so does my husband Josh. 💕

What also fills my heart with joy is when the kittens go home and their owners tell me all the things they love about them. It makes me feel so happy!

I wish that I could keep all of my retired adults, but it's not fair for them to continue living in a cattery home setting with Kittens and rotating adults. My mama's deserve undivided attention with an stress-free life!
So as much as I would love to keep a personal kitty or two this is what I think is best for them ❤️

Every week, the kittens surprise me in the best ways, showing off their unique personalities as they grow! From the most playful to the cuddliest, here are this week's standout moments:

✨Biggest & Most Demanding - Percy (Prada & Bruce) takes the crown at 6lbs at just 3.5 months! He's bold, playful, and absolutely insists on being the center of attention. If he's not in the spotlight, he's making sure he is! 😆

❤️Guest Favorite - Grayson (Bella & Bruce) won hearts with his sweet, snuggly nature. He soaked up all the love and gave it right back!

😲Most Surprising Glow-Up - Lucian & Seraphina (Bella & Bruce) went from quiet little ones to purring, gentle love bugs this week! These two were the tiniest and most reserved, but now they are all about soft snuggles and nonstop purrs.

☺️Calmest & Most Mellow - Tommy & Blair (Duchess
& Re*****on) proved to be the ultimate lap cats. Patient, relaxed, and happiest curled up in your arms. Honestly, Duchess's entire litter is just built different☺️

🎉Most Playful - Charlie (Duchess & Remi Blue Bicolor) made sure everyone knew he was the life of the party! Always in the middle of the action, full of energy and personality.

🛋️Most Lap-Oriented - Oliver (Victoria & Bordeaux) stole the show with his confidence and love for laps! Whether playing or napping, he made sure to be right there with you.

Watching their personalities bloom each week is such a joy! Which kitten personality would steal your heart?❤️🐾

| loved having Blair and her family over to play with the kittens this weekend!
The kittens get so excited when they see people walk through the door-they know it means toys, treats, and plenty of attention. And of course, fingers to lick!

Good morning and it’s a great monday morning! ☀️
Today, we're welcoming some lovely
guests to help socialize my kittens and shower them with love! I'm so grateful that my kittens get to meet so many wonderful people-it's truly a joy to watch them blossom.

Nothing makes me prouder than seeing my little ones race to the door, so excited to greet new friends! And it's even more special when the shy ones, who were once a little hesitant, gain confidence just by watching their bigger siblings run up for toys, treats, cuddles, and all the attention.
❤️Watching them grow into
affectionate, social, and trusting kittens is why I love what I do!

Prada is the girl who started it all! ❤️

Prada is THE cuddle queen! She loves nose rubs and plopping herself on top of me. She has always been a lap warmer! She's the first to be bossy and come to you for snuggles. She's got the loudest happy purr. 😻
I have carried her around like a baby for years and she tolerates it amazingly.

Prada is my pride and joy, but I can't wait for her to be spoiled and like out her retirement VERY spoiled in a quiet home. She LOVES people though so maybe not too quiet haha. ☺️
