Only two days until Puppy-palooza!

Consider this your official warning: Extreme cuteness is heading your way. 🎉

We will have Husky/Lab mix pups and Maltipoo pups but what is even better is Domino and Crayon might come visit the event!!

Crayon:
Crayon is a 5 month old Retriever-Labrador mix. He came to us when we helped clear another shelter so they could make space for a large intake of their own. Crayon was so shy and watched as his friends were getting adopted but he didn't. Soon he was alone in his kennel. Luckily, a foster came by and fell in love. She took Crayon home and he has really blossomed into the sweet boy we all knew he could be. Will you be his new human?

Domino:
Domino is a 1 year old Terrier mix. He has had some challenges since he came to the Humane Society of Skagit Valley. Originally, Domino came in as a stray with an injured leg. He needed extensive surgery to repair the damage. Thank goodness we have an amazing clinic team that was able to jump in and create a plan for his treatment and recovery. Domino has had quite a bit of crate rest and recovery over the last few months. He still isn't fully recovered but is growing stronger every day. He is smart and learns quickly. He is ready to find his perfect people!

Whether it is a puppy or a slightly older dog, we will have something for you! Come and visit us on October 24th, 11am to 2pm at Everett PetSmart!

🧙‍♀️✨ Witch’s Brew: 100% Love Muffin, 0% Witchcraft! 🐾💚

Don’t worry, you won’t need a magic potion to fall under my spell, and I promise I’m not growing any warts! 😉 I’m a 5-ish-month-old mystery mix who might have a little pug in me, might be part cute gremlin, but is DEFINITELY made of approximately 90% love muffin and 10% mischief.

I came to the shelter as a stray, so my past is a mystery. What we do know is that I seem to think people and other dogs are pretty wonderful, and I’m ready to sprinkle a little puppy magic into someone’s life. ✨

Now, about my feetsies… 🐾 They’re a wee bit sensitive, probably because I haven’t had much practice walking around on this big, scary world yet. I’ll need to build up my paw toughness slowly, with short adventures and lots of patience. And if my little tootsies need a break? I’m perfectly happy to accept an Uber ride in your arms. 💁‍♀️👑 Being carried like the tiny royalty I am is a perfectly acceptable form of transportation.

So, if you’re looking for a pint-sized gremlin with a heart of gold, a face that could launch a thousand love spells, and enough puppy charm to enchant your entire household… Witch’s Brew is ready to cast her spell! 🖤🔮

Side effects may include excessive smiling, uncontrollable cuddling, and suddenly believing that the cutest little weirdo in the world belongs to you.

TWO FLAVORS OF PUPPY CHAOS AND ONE BIG ADOPTION EVENT! 🐾

Looking to add a little bit more fluff, fun and questionable decision to your life? We have puppies!!

💕Meet our two adorable groups of 3-month old sweeties:

Husky/Lab mix pups
A little adventure, a lot of personality, and plenty of growing to do. These cuties are ready to find families who will help them learn, explore and become their very best dog selves.

Maltipoo Pups
Tiny fluffballs with big potential for stealing hearts, taking over laps and becoming the stars of your camera role.

We also might have an appearance from Crayon and Domino who are still looking for their new families.

💕 Meet Terra — full of resilience, a lot of love, and a whole lot of kisses. 💕

Terra is a 5-ish-year-old Malinois mix who was found on the side of the road with wounds all over her face. We may never know what this sweet girl has been through, but we do know where her story should go from here: straight into the arms of someone who will love her forever. ❤️

Because here’s the thing about Terra: if you meet Terra, you love Terra. 🥹 She is full of cuddles, kisses, and an endless appreciation for human affection. On the Malinois energy scale, she’s a pretty mellow girl — though she’s still a Malinois, so she’ll need regular exercise, opportunities to use her clever brain, and some fun mental enrichment. No marathon training required, just a human who understands that even the mellower Malinois need a little purpose!

Terra also gives off some serious mama-dog vibes. 🐾 She’s been doing well with young and small dogs, although she has shown some fear around larger forward male dogs, and we’re still getting to know her preferences. Cat history is unknown, and while she hasn’t lived with kids that we know of, she has absolutely adored every person she’s met, kids included! She loves being touched and showered with affection, so we think she could be a lovely addition to a family that gives her the time and support she deserves.

Her wounds are healing beautifully, and now this girl is ready for the next chapter — one with cozy evenings, gentle hands, adventures, and a family who makes sure she never has to wonder if she’s safe again. 💗

Terra has already shown us how much love she has to give. Now it’s time for someone to show her that love right back.

🐾 Meet Kitty: 60 Pounds of Lap Dog (And Counting!) 🐾

First things first… Kitty is a BOY. 😂 We know, we know. He’s been questioning the name too, but he’s decided he’s secure enough in his masculinity to rock it.

This 7-month-old Shepherd/Lab/Terrier mix might look like a lovable goofball at first, but don’t let the silly face fool you! There’s a pretty smart cookie hiding in there. 🍪 Kitty is a social butterfly who’s ready to make friends with just about everyone, and he’s already lived with other dogs and kids of all ages. Cats, however, remain a mystery!

Kitty is still a puppy, so expect the occasional burst of energy and a need for appropriate things to chew. The good news? His wild-child moments tend to be pretty short-lived. Once he’s gotten that out of his system, he’s happy to hang out, flop over dramatically, or climb into your lap like a perfectly reasonable 60-pound gentleman. 🤣
He’s a sweet, cuddly, fairly laid-back dude who seems to have mastered the art of being both fun AND easygoing. Basically, he’s an extroverted family guy looking for his people!

He’s got the head of a Lab, the legs of a Dachshund, and the b***y of a Corgi. Basically, a custom-built cutie with a whole lot of personality packed into a low-rider body. 🍑🐶

Herman can take a minute to warm up, and he may tell you “no thank you” a few times before deciding you’re actually pretty cool. But once you’re in? Get ready for the most adorable zoomies and the sweetest cuddles. 🥹❤️

His past is a mystery, so we don’t know how he feels about cats. Little kids probably aren’t his cup of tea, and if you have a dog at home, bring them along to see if this quirky little gentleman thinks you’re a match!

Herman isn’t for everyone, but for the right person? He’s got all the makings of a very short-legged, big-hearted best friend. 💕
