🐶🐾☀️-Can you help? We are in need of volunteers for our upcoming AKC Scent Work trial in Algonquin, Illinois for our trial weekend of September 26/27, 2026. Volunteering is fun and a great opportunity to learn about the wonderful sport of scent work. We’d love to have you. For those who have entered the trial, we ARE going to a random draw so not everyone will get in. We are able to offer volunteer entries to those who volunteer who can help the trial run efficiently. Common Scents K9 Scent Work Club of Elgin is hosting an AKC scent work trial in Algonquin, Illinois on September 26/27, 2026, Entries are now being accepted! We are offering two trials of all levels of buried, containers, exteriors and interiors, detective and select levels of handler discrimination. Come join our club and our amazing judges for a weekend of fun! Our judges include: Christine Kozanda, Dave Conroy, Laura Feldt, Jodine Briel, Lora Barlow, Christina Ruddock and Roger Lautt. 💙🐾 A Special Tribute to Connie Jankowski & Elton 🐾💙

Some gifts come straight from the heart, and that was certainly the case with the beautiful raffle baskets donated by our dear club volunteer, Connie Jankowski, for Common Scents K9 Scent Work Club July 4–5 AKC Scent Work Trial.



In loving memory of her beloved dog, Elton, Connie donated four incredible themed baskets, bringing smiles to so many of our exhibitors and volunteers.
