This morning as we arrived to the clinic we found a carry on-sized suitcase propped against the building with noises coming from inside. Unzipping it, we discovered TWELVE neonatal puppies. Their eyes are not open and they do not have fully formed ears. They appear to be less than five days old. Someone delivered this suitcase to our doorstep before sunrise. We scrambled into action, running to get puppy formula and extra bottles. We assessed their health to make sure they could take a bottle and started feedings and pottying stimulation every few hours throughout our work day WHILE seeing patients. At the same time we were scrambling to find someone to take the babies as this is a full time job day and night. Thankfully we had some spectacular people step up to help us!! Geagua Mama Dogs and Pups will be coordinating their care in the very near future. We would love for you to follow their page and donate if possible. This is an amazing network of people spread over hundreds of miles that help out in situations like this! We cannot say enough about the amazing way they are helping us! In the meantime, Rachel and Rhiannon have volunteered to take them for night time duty and Eva is transporting them to Geagua Mama. Thank you everyone for helping❤️ And to the person who delivered this package this morning, please spay your dog. There are multiple low cost clinics that receive grants to help cover your cost. This does not need to happen again. Alleycat Spay & Neuter is in East Liverpool and it’s not just for cats. This was not an ideal situation for anyone especially momma and babies who need each other. We hope momma is physically healthy and can recover from the trauma. Thanks again to all of our supporters out there!!❤️❤️❤️

Hello everyone😃
We just wanted to let you know the office will be closing a little early on Wednesday February 25 at 3pm and we will be closed all day Thursday and Friday. We apologize for the inconvenience but we are attending a veterinary conference so that we can continue to provide you and your pets up to date medical care and education. We just love our patients and cannot wait to share what we learn! See you all on Monday March 2!!

🚨 Found Beagle Alert! 🚨

Hey everyone, just a quick courtesy post: We’ve got a sweet little male beagle who was found running near the state line around Weirton, WV and Paris, PA.

He was checked at the vet for a microchip, and unfortunately, he doesn’t have one. So if anyone recognizes this adorable pup or knows his owner, please reach out!

Just to be clear: This beagle is not currently at any local shelter; he’s safe and sound in a private home for now. Let’s help this little guy get back to his family. Thanks, everyone!

We will be closing the clinic at 1pm on Thursday September 11 and will not open until Monday September 15. The team is headed to a conference in Baltimore to learn about new developments in medicine so we can continue to provide the best care for our amazing patients. Hello Everyone! We hope you had a great long weekend and soaked up the last bits of summer 😃 Our clinic is currently understaffed and therefore this Friday, September 5, we will be closed. If you are a large animal client please make sure you have the emergency number that was sent in your welcome letter. If you do not have it please reach out to the clinic during business hours and speak to Kara. This is a LARGE ANIMAL ONLY emergency number, small animal please use Blue Pearl or MedVet for after hour emergencies.
