Happy 11th birthday to the most amazing dog, "Wi******er." Not only has he touched my life in so many ways, he's touched so many of yours with his amazing offspring. For his birthday he was able to participate in many activities he's always enjoyed including grocery shopping and running errands with me. Most of all, we visited the drive thru for his favorite McDonald's burger patty. He's always been my rock and I will never know what I will ever do without him.

DOODLE & POODLE GENETICS 101: Are you aware poodles and Doodles with one or two copies of ivdd/cddy are not affected UNLESS they have cdpa? UNLESS you have a poodle or a Doodle shaped like a Dachshund with short legs and a long back, you will not have genetic issues. The ivdd/cddy clear obsession is a money making scam. The top Doodle and Poodle breeders in the USA laugh about all the hype over it and have NEVER had a dog with 1 or even 2 copies become affected. Nor have they had a customer report an issue of their pets affected by ivdd/cddy. Did you know veterinarians haven't seen cases of Doodles and Poodles affected with ivdd/cddy unless they also have cdpa? The ivdd/cddy clear obsessed breeders have narrowed the gene pool over such ridiculousness and continue to fill their pockets banking on people's lack of knowledge.

YES, YOU HAVE BEEN MISINFORMED! The geneticist from Paw Prints DOES NOT recommend eliminating a breeding quality male with 2 copies from a breeding program. In fact, ivdd/cddy is not even included in the Poodle Panel because it isn't a necessary test. If you are familiar with structure/confirmation you will be able to visually see if they have a long back with short legs. My dogs are clear of cdpa. Don't be ridiculous and ask me if they are clear for ivdd/cddy. We do not support narrowing the gene pool and causing inbreeding to support fads.
