Because while the world argues about cruelty, neglect, and what animals “deserve,” Denmark quietly took a step that could change an entire generation:

In upper levels, students learn about ethical treatment on farms, responsible breeding, and the emotional needs of working dogs — from K9 units to therapy animals.
Some schools even partner with local shelters so kids can help socialize shy dogs or read books aloud to nervous rescues.

Early studies show students who complete the program demonstrate higher empathy not just toward animals, but toward each other.
