Something that means a lot in our shop and for the most of my fellow taxidermy friends. ”Quality Over Quantity". If you ask how far out i am its not because we are slow lol its because we are full and busy by the details we add to our work everyone trying to get in. So we set a minimum a month take-in so we can to stay focused. id love to rush your bird to you, but my quality stops me from rushing. Just something to think on.

In taxidermy waterfowl terms, quality over quantity means choosing to have one breathtaking, lifelike mount on your wall rather than a dozen cheap, poorly made birds.
Here is how that breaks down on the workbench and in the trophy room:
• The Anatomy vs. The Pile: It is the difference between one mallard sculpted with a perfectly symmetrical wingbeat, flawless feather alignment, and realistic eye placement, versus a freezer full of birds that come back looking like bloated footballs with yellow-painted bills.
• The Investment: You spend your budget on one professional + class taxidermist who understands the exact muscle anatomy of a diving canvasback, instead of trying to get a "bulk discount" from a hobbyist who rushes through birds in an afternoon.
• The Wall Space: A single, anatomically correct wood duck in a dynamic, custom-designed banking pose creates a stunning centerpiece that honors the harvest. A wall crowded with rushed, stiff mounts just looks like a cluttered mess.
Ultimately, it means when someone walks into your trophy room, they say, "Look at the incredible detail on that pintail," instead of, "Why do all your ducks look surprised?"
