Using the goats to rebuild the quail habitat on our preserve has been a game changer. Creating habitat with good cover and edges into grassy areas gives the quail places to eat, hide and brood. These elements are critical for increasing the quail population.

Last year we would only occasionally see or hear quail in this area, now I hear their songs continuously and see multiple strong flying birds daily.

Taking advantage of a cool summer morning and working the dogs before breakfast.
