Good Evening!
As we step into the New Year, we just want to take a moment to say thank everybody that is a part of the We’ll Keep Their Tails Wagging Family(Pet Parents and your beloved companions) Your support, trust, patience’s and kindness this past year meant more than we can put into words. Every visit, every referral, your texts and every time you choose us to care for your companion animals and home it truly means everything.
We also wanted to share a brief update. Let everybody know we are still around. Just moving at a much slower pace. The past few months have been a bit of a rollercoaster. On my end, my lumpectomy was successful and I’m now adjusting to the hormone therapy to block/lessen the chances of future cancer growth. Ad ongoing screenings. The biggest adjustment has simply been navigating medication changes, side effects and finding the best balance moving forward.
Over the holidays, our family had another unexpected emergency medical. Jon-Paul underwent an emergency surgery right before Christmas and had a hospital stay, followed by brief readmission due to complications from the surgery. He is home now and recovering, but is still healing and taking things a bit slower for the time being. And is on numerous physical restrictions
Because of these recovery needs, we are continuing our standard pet-sitting services, but keeping our schedule a little lighter where possible. At this time, we are not taking on livestock sits or anything requiring physically demanding care that requires heavier lifting, or livestock handling. We will be having a email going out sometime over the next couple of weeks discussing further changes and dates dates of unavailability. Colin’s is graduating high school High and will be moving away from Texas for College in the Fall 2026
Thank you for your continued understanding, patience, and support. We are so grateful to have you as part of the We’ll Keep Their Tails Wagging family, and we look forward to another year of tail wags, purrs, and peace of mind for you and your pets.
Warmly,
Annie + JP
