Happy Tails Pupdate - Little Harley is loving life up in Illinois after a miserable start in Alabama. As one of only 2 puppies to survive from her litter, we were grateful that Lorinda Brewer Stutheit agreed to foster her on short notice. After a few weeks, we sent Harley to one of our beloved rescue partners for them to find her an adopter. As you can see, they found her a great home where she is loved and content! Harley is thriving because a small group of advocates made a way for her when she seemed to have no hope. Please consider advocating for animals in need in your area whether by donating, volunteering or sharing posts. You may be the one person who saves a life!

Olivia went from death row to beloved furkid, and we were honored to facilitate her life makeover! Thanks to one of our rescue partners, Olivia now has the loving servants she so desperately wanted. Happy life pretty girl, you were a hard one for me to give up.

When I met this dog she was in heat and roaming the neighborhood with a couple male dogs eagerly following her. After getting owner permission, I quickly got Jada spayed and also put up a 10‘ x 20‘ kennel so she would no longer roam freely. This was a huge win for the dog, the owner and the entire neighborhood! Huge gratitude to everyone who donates, volunteers & shares posts so we can continue to offer this sort of assistance.

Paisley was a hot mess running wild when we met her a few years ago. Now she’s a hot mess who is spayed, current on everything she needs AND a beloved house pet. Because people donate, we are able to help many dogs in Bullock County.

One of our hospice foster dogs looking cozy & content thanks to his dutiful servant…er, I mean foster mom 🥰. This guy is at least 14yo and spent his entire life as a lonely yard ornament up until his family surrendered him to us a few months ago. They agreed that he deserves this sort of life in his final chapter!

Oct 8 - ADOPTION PENDING! Thanks to one of our rescue partners, Olivia is on the road to Iowa where a super stellar couple is eagerly awaiting her. 💜💜💜

NEEDS RESCUE OR ADOPTER Olivia is ecstatic to be outta doggie jail and to be on the mend after getting her eyes fixed. Now she’s recovering in my barn kennel and will soon be ready to transfer to another rescue or direct adoption. Olivia is 2yo, 50lbs, medium high energy, tolerant of cats/horses, kinda wants to chase chickens & wants a dog playmate (but not until her eyes are fully healed). She’s spayed, UTD on vax & preventions and heartworm negative. She likes to chase, and occasionally retrieve, balls or snuggle/wrestle in someone’s lap. Available soon for transfer or adoption.

No really…she IS happy, she just has resting grumpy face 😆. New intake Olivia is thrilled to leave the shelter behind her and seems to approve of farm life. At just 2 yo & 50 lbs, she’s got lots of bouncy energy and would do best with another dog to play with or periodic play dates. She seems like she’s gonna be okay with cats too. Olivia will soon be looking for a super stellar adopter in Montgomery AL or Biloxi MS area. She could also be adopted through one of our partners in Illinois/Wisconsin/Florida.
