Dusty Barrett Saddlery Established in 1990. Fisrt making rodeo chaps followed by saddles a few years later. Dusty Barrett Saddlery, owned and operated by Dusty Barrett since 1991.

In 1991 Dusty started designing, building and selling quality custom rodeo chaps for top riders of the PBR including Chris Shivers and Ronny Kitchens. In the late 90’s Dusty took his knowledge and experience as a Saddle Bronc Rider and started designing and building his own line of Bronc saddles. Isaac Diaz will be competing for the fourth time at the WNFR in a Dusty Barrett custom Bronc saddle in

2013. In 1998 Dusty was crowned year end Champion Saddle Bronc Rider for the First Frontier Circuit himself competing in his own custom saddle. After retiring from Bronc riding Dusty was introduced to the world of Reined Cowhorses and was hooked. With this new love, Dusty took his passion and knowledge of saddle fitting for the horse and rider and pooled it with his wife Jennifer’s years of experience as a barrel racer. (Jennifer is a 9 time qualifier to the First Frontier Circuit Finals in the barrel racing.) Together they design custom Barrel Saddles that take the concepts from the cowhorse saddle with its close contact to the horse feel, signature “hard seat” and combines it with the idea of a forward hung stirrup for better leg position; then add a swell and cantle that gives even the most timid rider a feel of security. Every saddle he builds is made with the highest quality materials on the market today. Each saddle is custom built with pride and is made to last. Dusty Barrett
