Meet the Pets of the Week! This week we are featuring Buster & Oliver. Each pup is looking for his forever home, and they cannot wait to meet you.

Meet Buster!
Buster is a white and tan terrier mix. He's about 5 months old, and will likely be around 44lbs+ when fully grown. This fun-loving little guy is happiest when he's with his humans, soaking up attention, playing, and making the most of every minute.

Buster is the kind of puppy who loves to be loved. He's affectionate, social, and always ready to make a new friend. Whether he's chasing a toy, exploring something new, or simply hanging out with his people, Buster approaches life with plenty of enthusiasm.

Meet Oliver!
Oliver, a black and white terrier mix, is the sweetest little boy who is ready to find his very own best buddy! This lovable guy has a heart full of affection and loves everyone he meets.

Whether you're looking for a companion to hang out with, a little shadow to follow you around, or simply a sweet friend to share your days with, Oliver is ready to fill that role. He's the kind of boy who makes it easy to fall in love.

Buster and Oliver have been residents at the shelter for a few weeks, and they have become staff favorites. Each boy is full of personality, and eager to love on their humans. If you're looking to adopt, consider giving Buster or Oliver a chance!

Currently, we are seeking donations of dry dog food. We can accept unopened, unexpired bags of dog food during shelter hours.

What is Trap Neuter Return (TNR)?

Trap Neuter Return (TNR) is a humane approach to managing community cat populations. Community cats receive sterilization and a rabies vaccination from Crossroads Community Veterinary Clinic, and are then returned to their established environment. Spaying or neutering community cats helps prevent unwanted litters and improves the health and stability of outdoor cat populations.

What is a Community Cat?

Community cats are unowned, free-roaming cats who live outdoors. Many are feral or only partial socialized with humans. While they may receive food or shelter from humans, they are not generally house pets, and typically avoid human interaction.

Many community and working cats can be found working with barn, shop or property owners, and often help manage rodent populations.

What are the benefits?

Preventing unwanted litters, reduction of illness and nuisance behaviors, stabilization of outdoor cat populations, and healthier working/outdoor cats.

TNR Grants Available for Eligible Applicants

We recognize that even reduced-cost TNR services may be difficult for some individuals to afford. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, TNR grant assistance may be available to qualifying individuals.

At Crossroads Community Veterinary Clinic, we believe that financial circumstances should not stand in the way of preventing unwanted litters and improving the health and well-being of community cats.

Through the generosity of our supporters, our TNR Grant Program provides financial assistance for eligible individuals who need help covering the cost of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services.

Who Can Qualify?

TNR grant assistance is available to individuals who meet our financial eligibility guidelines.

You may qualify if you currently participate in a government-subsidized assistance program or receive Social Security benefits.

Examples of qualifying assistance may include:

Government-sponsored or subsidized assistance programs

Social Security benefits

Other qualifying public assistance programs

Eligibility is based on current participation in a qualifying program. Additional program requirements may apply.

What Is TNR?

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a humane approach to managing community cat populations.

The property owner humanely traps and transports cats to Crossroads Community Veterinary Clinic for sterilization and Rabies vaccination, and then returns them to their established outdoor environment.

Spaying and neutering community cats helps prevent unwanted litters and can improve the long-term health and stability of outdoor cat populations.

How the TNR Grant Works

Eligible applicants can apply for financial assistance through Crossroads Community Veterinary Clinic.

Once eligibility is confirmed, grant funds may be used to help offset the cost of qualifying TNR services provided through the Clinic.

Grant funds are limited and available based on program funding. Applying does not guarantee that assistance will be available, and grants are intended to support individuals who demonstrate financial need.
