Moore Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
We are a busy mixed-animal practice providing compassionate care to both small and large animals throughout the Dallas County area. Our clinic offers wellness care, surgery, diagnostics, and treatment for sick and injured patients in a supportive, family-like environment that encourages learning and personal growth.
The ideal candidate is:

• Compassionate toward animals and clients
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A strong team player with good communication skills
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting with patient handling and restraint
• Monitoring hospitalized patients
• Performing diagnostic imaging and laboratory procedures
• Communicating with clients and coordinating appointments
• Assisting the veterinary team with daily tasks and procedures
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic
Requirements:
✔ Must be 18 years of age or older
✔ Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably
✔ Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
✔ Able to communicate professionally in person and over the phone
✔ Able to pass a voluntary drug screening
✔ Flexible availability Monday–Friday from 7:45 AM until at least 5:30 PM
✔ No weekends required at this time
Compensation is based on experience and skill level. Employee benefits include personal pet care discounts.
