We have been asking for the city parking lot at Norwalk and Hertel to be re-painted so the handicap spots are clearly marked. One of our team members is in a wheelchair and people park in the center spot blocking her (and many others) from getting in or out of vehicles. Well, it’s been painted!!! Thank you to the team of people that got it done. Commissioner Booth, Councilmen Feroleto’s office, the Hertel Business Association and Mike Switalski. Sometimes you just have to be persistent. This relatively simple fix is a huge thing for those with mobility issues. Thank you again.
