The Animal Hospitable

The Animal Hospitable We provide routine exams, blood work, radiographs, dental cleanings, and surgery.

The Animal Hospitable is a small practice in terms of its physical size, but we practice state of the art medicine. We have well educated, caring staff who regularly attend continuing education seminars to stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine. You can be assured that our compassionate, caring staff will treat your pet as if they were one of our own. We do not practice cooki

e cutter medicine, with puppy or kitten “packages” that are the same for each animal. Instead we practice thoughtful medicine based on you and your pet’s individual needs.

PLEASE ADVISE!

It is and has been tick season. It’s not going to get any better anytime soon. Make sure you are checking your pets daily for these guys and make sure your cats and dogs are on a good quality flea and tick prevention. Need some suggestions? Give us a call!

CHECK YOURSELF! We're now at peak tick season & much of WNY is crawling with these little guys hoping to find a free meal. If you spend any amount of time outdoors, it is wise to make a habit of checking yourself for ticks. The Finger Lakes region, in particular, is a hot spot right now (which I can attest to). If you notice a rash or flu-like symptoms after spending time outdoors, please don't hesitate to get checked for tick-borne diseases. The faster you take action, the better your outcome will likely be!

HAPPY wants you to know that today, April 30th, is National Tabby Day!

Thought by some people as a cat breed, tabby is not. It’s a coat pattern seen in almost all domestic cats. There are four known patterns on these tabbies’ coats: the classic, mackerel, spotted and ticked.
