🐾❤️ UDR ALUMNI PUPDATE: EDWIN! ❤️🐾

One of our favorite things at United Doberman Rescue is getting updates on our amazing alumni and seeing them thrive in their forever homes! 🏡❤️

🌟 Today, we’re showing off the one and only EDWIN! 🌟

Edwin is absolutely LOVING life with his forever family! He shares his home with fellow UDR alumna Valkyrie (formerly known as Pi), and these two are the best of friends! 🐶❤️🐶

🎾 Fetch, fetch, and MORE fetch! These two absolutely love playing ball, but Edwin has his own special style! When he’s running through the yard, he leaps and bounds like a little deer! 🦌😂 His goofy personality and endless enthusiasm keep his family laughing every day!

❤️ Edwin is not only playful and full of energy, but he’s also an incredibly sweet, well-behaved boy who brings so much happiness to his family.

🐕‍🦺 What’s next for Edwin? AGILITY CLASSES! 🎉 His family is excited to get him started in the near future to help channel his energy, build confidence, and give this athletic boy another opportunity to shine!

His forever family couldn’t be more thankful for Edwin and all the love, laughter, and joy he brings into their lives. ❤️

Look at the progress 1 day can make!! 😍😍 Adoptable 3 year old Klaus has an amazing foster who's putting in the time and effort for this amazing and sweet boy!! He bonds HARD and would love nothing more than to start his adventure with his forever family. He is working through some allergies, we believe it may be chicken so future home should be ready to avoid chicken products, very common allergy in dogs and Dobermans tend to be sensitive babies!

Our adoptable 3-year-old Klaus is putting in the work with his foster and absolutely thriving with structure, routine, and guidance!

This handsome guy is a typical Doberman through and through. He bonds deeply with his people and wants nothing more than to be right by your side. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will happily Velcro himself to you, Klaus might just be your guy!

Today, Klaus went on a little field trip to Petco, and he did GREAT getting out into the world and experiencing new sights, sounds, and surroundings! These kinds of positive outings are such a valuable part of building confidence and helping dogs learn how to navigate the world alongside their people.

Klaus is learning, growing, and showing us what he can do when given the consistency and support he deserves. Dobermans thrive with clear expectations, routine, and a person they can trust, and Klaus is proving just how much that matters!

Happy ! 🐾 We have a very special little lady showing off her best smiles for the camera today. Meet Blair—found abandoned all alone in an Iowa field as a tiny baby with barely any puppy teeth! Despite that rough start, Blair is a happy-go-lucky, high-energy girl who is ready to bring endless fun and silly puppy antics into her forever home.

MEET INCOMING SCOOBY!!
Today, Scooby got his second chance! This big man was just pulled from the euthanasia list in California, and we couldn't be happier that his story isn't ending at the shelter.

Scooby is a stray estimated to be around 5 years old and weighs in at a whopping 86 pounds! He's a big guy who deserves the chance to decompress, feel safe, and show us who he really is outside of the stressful shelter environment.

The shelter reports that Scooby appears to be dog friendly, but he wasn't doing well in the shelter setting. Shelter life can be incredibly overwhelming for dogs, and sometimes we need to get them into a home environment before we can truly understand their personalities, needs, and preferences.

Scooby will soon be joining foster care in California through UDR, where we'll get to know him better and learn more about what kind of forever home will help him thrive!
