Happy October! 🎃We are excited to celebrate this spooky season by seeing all of your pets dressed up for Halloween! The photos you share here will be printed out and displayed in our lobby. We'll get the ball rolling with Wonder Woman, Dr Mattson's lionhead rabbit. How adorable is this??

Introducing Haasy, our staff pet of the month!🥰

This is Haasy (Hosss-eee), he turned 16 years old about a month ago
and is owned by our technician Kaitlin!

She has had him since the day he was born! Since then, he has been with
her to graduate high school and college, get married and move to a new
house, then bring home 3 babies.

Haasy has a pretty laid-back life with his favorite activities being
eating and sleeping (and hiding from the kids).

He is definitely a one cat in the house kinda guy, but has slowly
accepted his dog brothers. They still know to keep their space because
Haasy rules the roost.

Hopeful for many more years with our old guy! ❤

Introducing our next adorable staff pet of the month: Ms Pearl!

Hello! My Name is Ms. Pearl
I am not your average house guest. I am a bearded dragon. I have moved my home this summer to live with Kelly and her family. It has been taking some adjustments for both myself and the family. I was used to lots of kindergarteners! Those kids are very lively! My new residence is very quiet. This new house has a white fluff ball they call Daphne. I’m not so sure I like Daphne, but the rest of the family is alright.

Things I like to do consist of:
● Basking in the heat of my lamps all day.
● Occasional snuggle on my heated rock.
● Swim in my water dish. Not much swimming is done, mostly laying around.

What do I like to eat?
Hmmm-
Well I LOVE LIVE Crickets!! They are my favorite! Butternut Squash is also high on the list! I
also like to eat mealworms, kale, carrots, and cucumbers. Along with some other vegetables.
There are some foods I can only have once a month. Occasional treats I like are blueberries &
watermelon.

Please join us in congratulating our licensed veterinary technicians! 🎉
July 1st marks a historic milestone for the veterinary profession in Minnesota: veterinary technician licensure is officially in effect across our state!
Our technicians have all taken the extra steps required to complete this licensure and we are so proud of them!
What does this mean for you and your pets?
It means that you can expect all veterinary technicians to be formally educated, trained, licensed, continually learning, and providing the highest level of care. We would be lost without them!🐾❤🐾❤🐾
