1 FULL WEEK OF SIGGI🥳 I am loving getting to know this sweet girl. We’ve learned so much and she makes us laugh daily. So many have asked how she’s doing and she really has adjusted so well and quicker than I expected🥹
A little recap of her first week:
-she loves to sleep and makes getting out of bed hard in the mornings
-loves emptying her toy bin after breakfast
-red meat is a win, not a big fan of fruits and veggies
-LOVES her baby pool and to sunbathe
-the best girl for her nail trim and bath
-becoming more interested and engaging with the twins
-met some more of her family

But overall, made herself right at home🥹💛

You are your pet’s teacher🐾 As I am reading Jay Shetty’s “8 Rules of Love,” I immediately related this topic about our relationships with other humans to our relationships with animals, especially dogs. I find it so important to observe the animals I share my time with so that I can offer compassionate and collaborative communication with them. Our relationship with our animals is just that, a relationship, meaning there are 2 parties involved. It’s our duty, as the sentient human, to learn and adapt to how our pets are communicating with us; and the best way they can learn from us is knowing that they can trust us, in a fear free environment. That’s why I am a proud supporter fear free and positive reinforcement methods. Your pets deserve the best care and respect💛 Like, save, or share if any of this has resonated with you🫶🏼
