☀️🐾 Hello, Summer! 🐾☀️
Tomorrow is the first day of summer, it is finally here, and that means more sunshine, outdoor adventures, and time spent making memories with our pets! 🌻🐶🐱
As temperatures rise, don’t forget to keep your furry family members safe while enjoying the season:
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water
🌳 Avoid long walks during the hottest parts of the day
🔥 Never leave pets in a parked vehicle — even for a minute
🐾 Watch hot pavement temperatures to protect sensitive paw pads
🦟 Stay current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
🏖️ Bring pets along for safe summer fun like hikes, lake days, camping trips, or backyard BBQs
😎 Make sure pets have access to shade and cool resting areas
Signs of heat exhaustion can include excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse. If you notice these symptoms, seek veterinary care immediately.
We hope you and your pets have a safe, healthy, and adventure-filled summer season! ☀️❤️🐾
