We are, of course, so thankful for every single one of you and for the continued support of our business. We truly love our clients and their pups, and it’s important to us that you’re able to stay on the schedule with the groomer you know and trust.

As we continue to book about four weeks out, we highly recommend rebooking before you leave your appointment or even booking ahead for the year when possible. It’s the best way to help guarantee your preferred timing and keep your pup on a consistent grooming routine.

Matting is more than just tangled hair — it can pull tightly on the skin, trap moisture and debris, and become uncomfortable or even painful for your dog.

When matting becomes severe, brushing it out can cause unnecessary stress and may damage the coat in the process. In those cases, a shorter shave-down is often the safest and kindest option. It gives the skin a chance to breathe, removes the painful tangles, and lets us start fresh with a healthy grooming routine.

And remember: short cuts can still be adorable. 💜🐾

Not all coats are created the same — and that means grooming shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all. ✂️🐾

A dog’s coat type affects everything from how often they should be brushed to the tools, products, drying methods, and haircut techniques that work best for them. Curly and wool coats can mat quickly, double coats need proper deshedding, long silky coats require regular maintenance to prevent tangles, and smooth coats have their own skin and shedding needs too.

Understanding your dog’s coat helps us create a grooming routine that keeps them comfortable, healthy, and looking their best between appointments.
