💚 Yoda Found His Forever Home! 💚

This little guy found his forever home and completely filled Mom’s heart! 🥰🐾
Yoda was adopted about a month ago, and he has already brought so much happiness, love, and joy to his family. Those big ears, sweet face, and adorable personality make it easy to see why he was meant to be theirs. 🥹💕
We absolutely love seeing our furry friends find their happily ever after. Congratulations, Yoda, on finding your forever family! 🐶💚

🐾💕 Meet Bowie! 💕🐾

Bowie came to us for her first boarding tryout, and she did wonderfully! 🥰 She was a little nervous at first, but it didn’t take long for her sweet personality to shine through.
She quickly showed us that she knows how to sit for treats 🍪 and give the sweetest kisses! 💋🐶
What a sweetheart you are, Bowie! We’re so happy you had such a great first boarding experience. We can’t wait to see you again! ❤️🐾

Our Hawaiian-Style Photo Shoot last Saturday was an absolute HIT! 🥰🌺🐾
We loved seeing so many of our amazing clients and patients stop by, have some fun, and enjoy a little taste of the islands with us! 🌴📸 From adorable pups to happy families, you all made the day so special.
A BIG Thanks to our Practice Manager, Evie, for creating and organizing this fun event and bringing the Hawaiian spirit to Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital! 🌺🌴 And a huge thank-you to all of our wonderful staff members who helped set up, take pictures, welcome everyone, and make the day so memorable. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💕🐾 And, of course, the biggest THANK YOU goes to our amazing clients and patients who came out and joined in the fun! “But he’s healthy. Why does he need vaccines?” 🐶💉

Because vaccines aren’t for what your dog has today.

They’re protection against what they could meet tomorrow.

And each vaccine has a different job:

🦠 DAPP — protects against serious diseases including distemper, adenovirus and parvovirus.

💛 Leptospirosis — protects against bacteria that can cause serious kidney and liver disease; and can infect people, too. (p.s see word zoonotic)

🦇 Rabies — protects against a fatal disease that can spread to people.

🐕 Bordetella/respiratory vaccines — may be recommended for dogs who board, go to daycare, get groomed, travel, or spend time around other dogs.

The easiest way I explain vaccines?

They’re practice for the immune system.

We’d rather your dog’s body learn what the enemy looks like before it ever has to fight the real thing.

And no, that doesn’t mean every dog needs every vaccine.

That’s why we ask about their lifestyle, where they go, what they’re exposed to, and what they’ve had before.

Healthy today is exactly what we’re trying to protect. ❤️🐾

🐾 Meet Eevee! 🐾
Hi, I'm Eevee! 💛 Yep, my mom named me after the Pokémon because I'm just that adorable.
Yesterday was my very first visit with Dr. Schaele, and I was the bravest little kitty ever! I got my vaccines, didn't cause too much trouble, and then came the best part... CHURU! 😻
I firmly believe every vaccine deserves a Churu reward. It's basically the law. 😸 🐱💕🐾

Post-surgery checkups are just as important as the surgery itself. ❤️🐾
At Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital, every patient receives the same love, compassion, and dedicated care from start to finish. Dr. Schaele takes the time to ensure each pet is healing comfortably and feeling their best, treating every patient like family.
This sweet little one Cobweb came in for a post-operative checkup and was surrounded by gentle hands, kindness, and plenty of cuddles. Seeing our patients recover and thrive is the greatest reward.
