Charles is a new breeder and he wants to build a breeding program focused on preserving and improving the Rottweiler. We talked about the importance of selecting the right foundation bitch, understanding pedigrees, and the value of strong ADRK bloodlines. He chose a puppy from Oskar x Tequila.
Tequila is one of the finest overall females ever imported into the USA. She is a beautiful female with outstanding breed type. Oskar is an impressive male who complements her very well.
Charles is new to the Sieger Show and IGP world, but what stands out most is his eagerness to learn. He is asking questions, studying bloodlines, and making thoughtful breeding decisions with the goal of producing quality Rottweilers.
Watch for Charles at the 2027 MRK Sieger Show, where he plans to exhibit all three of his Rottweilers and will be attempting the Breed Suitability Test (BST) with his two adult dogs.
Charlotte also has an exciting pedigree. She is a half-sister to Mitchell Koval's "Zeke" (Odom's Zeke haus des Beschutzers) and a half-sister to "Harold" (Herold vom Lindenstein) - both Tequila offspring - giving her an outstanding genetic foundation for both the show ring and a future breeding program.
We wish Charles the very best as he begins this exciting journey. Every successful breeding program starts with a vision, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to preserving the Rottweiler as a true working dog with the ability to show.
It is exciting times for the Rottweiler in North America because some of the world's best bloodlines can now be found in USA and Canada.
