Camille spearheaded an animal veggie garden, a few months ago, right along the goat fence line. No announcement. Just seeds, soil, and consistency.
She’s been out here watering, weeding, waiting.

Hi, my name is Dave.

New lamb at MFAS, and the rumors are true. He showed up recently and Cookie has already made her opinion known. Eve is dubious. Cotton has been giving him the slow blink treatment.

Baa Baa, on the other hand, seems pretty pleased. Finally someone with his pace and energy.

New intros always come with a little drama. Give it some time and nobody will remember there was ever a fuss.

One of our favorite parts of the weekend: Private Sanctuary tours.
Small groups, up to eight people, come meet everyone in person. We walk through how the sanctuary runs day to day, who lives where, who’s in charge (ask Cookie), who needs a little extra patience right now.
The animals seem to know when visitors are coming. Even the shy ones show up.
