There are moments in this journey that remind me why integrity matters so much.
Sometimes, despite clear expectations and contracts, people make decisions that leave you disappointed. Not because of the outcome itself, but because honesty and communication were missing. Those moments can be discouraging, especially when you pour your heart into every puppy you raise.
At Darbytown Labradors, I’ve always believed that doing the right thing isn’t always the easiest thing—but it’s always the right thing. My commitment has never been just to producing beautiful Labradors. It’s to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies, standing behind them for their entire lives, and treating every family with honesty, transparency, and respect.
Integrity isn’t something you practice only when it’s convenient. It’s the foundation of everything you build.
While I can’t control the choices others make, I can control the standards I hold myself to. Those standards will never change. Every breeding decision, every conversation, every promise, and every puppy that leaves my home will continue to be guided by honesty, accountability, and a genuine love for this breed.
