Tomorrow March 18 we’re bringing the largest group of calves we’ve raised together to sell at Premier Livestock & Auctions LLC. We’re so excited to see our herd grow like it has in the last 5 years and to provide the one of the best group of calves that we have.

Coming off the winter we have gone through with the fire at Nancy’s (our winter pasture). It’s been amazing to see how God has kept us and guided us through it all. Providing for us every step of the way.

They are purina wind and rain mineral program calves
75 days weaned
Vaccinated and pour on
Given multi min 90 at birth and weaning
Treated with FerAppease at weaning and today
Fed grain daily with free choice corn silage, and hay

Just a quick picture of the April born Monopoly club calf county fair steer for sale. He was just put on creep feed and hasn’t been brought in the barn yet. Were behind on getting calves in the barn but I think he’d make for good county fair steer.

And with these last two AI calves that’s a wrap on the AI bred cows. The shorthorn heifer on the left is a SULLIVAN Primetime x BOY Helga. We’re really excited for her as Bailey is getting up in years and has never had a purebred shorthorn heifer calf. And she’s just really special to me as she was the first show heifer I bought on my own.

The bull on the right is a MONOPOLY x commercial cow. (The oldest cow in the pasture here and this will be her last calf as she’s took calving pretty tough.) Be sure to watch for her as a clubby steer calf in the fall!

We weaned our 2022 calf crop today to ring in the new year!

As we look back on 2022 we just want thank everyone for their support of our dreams.

Beef 🥩 is ***very limited for 2023, as we had almost all heifers calves and well we don’t eat those 😂

But Matt and I have worked hard this year to purchase more cattle that way in future years we have plenty of beef to go around!
